ASEAN Conference on Social Entrepreneurship

What happens when you bring together 50 social enterprises and 30 partners interested in collaboration, in one room?
UnLtd Indonesia and Singapore International Foundation present the ASEAN Conference on Social Entrepreneurship 2016 on July 21-22 in Singapore. Supported by ASEAN Foundation through the Japan-ASEAN Solidarity Fund, the purpose of this conference is to provide a regional platform promoting social entrepreneurship and fostering collaboration in the region.

Participating social enterprises, country partners and ecosystem leaders will be encouraged to work in partnership to produce tangible collaborative project proposals within their sector. We will utilise design thinking and lean startup methodology to guide collaborators through the process of creating and prototyping shared solutions for their sector.

This year’s conference will focus on the four themes in line with the Sustainable Development Goals: (1)Food & Agriculture, (2)Health & Disability, (3)Culture & Tourism, and (4)Youth & Education.

  • To highlight different models of public-private-people engagement between social enterprise, corporations and governments in ASEAN Member States
  • To foster collaborations between social enterprises, organisations supporting social enterprises, governments and academia to build stronger ecosystem regionally and in ASEAN Member States.
